The Center for Translational Science offers state-of-the-art research facilities and recharge centers. We provide high-quality instruments, advanced technologies, and services across a variety of research areas. These resources are accessible to FIU faculty, students, and research staff, as well as research partners in South Florida and beyond. Our facilities and equipment enhance and expand collaborative capabilities within the research community.
Facilities
At the FIU-Metabolomics Research Center, our research interests focus on mass spectrometry (MS)-based metabolomics and its applications in early disease diagnosis, drug metabolism, and biological sciences.

The drugs, biologics/biopharmaceuticals, and nanomaterials will be using state-of-the-art drug development techniques and analytical methods. Drug analytical method development services will be provided. Preformulation and formulation activities will be provided. In vitro performance and in vitro cellular experiments will also be provided. The lab has the capability to provide more services with better instrumentation and will provide a unique capability to CTS.
