Valerie Delgado Maceira is a Research Assistant in the Kim Lab at Florida International University (FIU) Center for Translational Science, department of Cellular Biology and Pharmacology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Indian River State College with a concentration in Biochemistry and Molecular biology. She is currently a Biomedical Science Graduate Student at Florida International University, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Her research interests lie in combining Biology and Chemistry for drug discovery and development using the ubiquitin proteasome pathway.
